One Day at Carleton Place and Almonte
On a weekend in August 2025, I journeyed with two friends to the charming towns of Carleton Place and Almonte. Captured within these pages are moments from that day—snapshots of places where time seems to slow down, almost becoming still. To me, these images reflect the gentle rhythm of life in these small towns, where each scene feels quietly preserved, suspended in the warmth of an endless summer afternoon. Special thanks to my two friends who shared this memorable day, making the journey and these photographs all the more meaningful.

Selected Moments – A Personal Journey
This series is a selection of photographs I’ve taken over the past few years. Ever since I got my first camera in 2019, I’ve made it a habit to carry it everywhere, allowing me to document my life continuously—from China to Canada, from now into the future. These images represent just a small part of my work and a glimpse of how I share myself to the world.
Portrait Series - Chinatown@Ottawa 2024/06/14
This collection captures my friend Wenqun, a YouTube influencer, on a bright summer day in Ottawa Chinatown. The strong natural light allowed for striking contrasts, creating a dramatic effect, while softer shaded areas brought a gentle, natural glow to the face. Shot with the Ricoh GR III, these images explore the balance between light and shadow, enhancing the depth and emotion within each frame.
